Dots & Hearts

Hi!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Today's card was inspired by Lawnscaping Challenge 75:Dots and hearts in which you have to use dots, hearts or both in your creation. I used the Cole's ABCs Lawn Cuts to die cut on glitter cardstock the letters for "TE AMO" which means "I love you" in Spanish. I wanted to make balloons out of the letters for Mr. Fox to hold. The fox is from the "Critters in the Forest" stamp set and I used the coordinating Lawn Cuts die for it. It is colored with Copics. The clouds are from the "Blues Skies" set. I stamped them in white cardstock then dry embossed it using the Cuttlebug and the "Swiss Dots" embossing folder. The sky is colored with Distress inks (Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans). I'll also enter this one to the Simon Says Monday Challenge: Love Note.

Espero que todos estén disfrutando del fin de semana. La tarjeta de hoy está inspirada en la competencia de Lawnscaping Challenge 75:Dots and hearts en la cual se debe incluir corazones, puntos o ambos al proyecto. Usé el troquel de Cole's ABCs Lawn Cuts para cortar las letras en cartulina escarchada. Quería hacer globos de las letras para que el Sr. Zorro las aguantara. El zorro es del set "Critters in the Forest" el cual corté utilizando el troquel en coordinación. Utilicé Copics para colorearlo. Las nubes son del set "Blue Skies". Las estampé en cartulina blanca y luego hice "dry embossing" con "Swiss dots embossing folder" y el "Cuttlebug". El cielo está coloreado con "Distress inks" (Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans). Estaré entrando esta tarjeta también a la competencia de  Simon Says Monday Challenge: Love Note.
