Scrapbook Convention

¡Hola!

Con mucha alegría les traigo información de la 2da Convención de Scrapbook de Puerto Rico auspiciada por la Revista Papeles y Más. Esta sera el 23 de febrero en el Centro de Convenciones de Puerto Rico. Allí estaran casi todas las tiendas de scrapbook de Puerto Rico entre otras tiendas de arte y nosotras, el equipo de diseño de la revista. Habrán muchas clases a escoger tanto de las tiendas como del equipo de diseño. Me place decirles que estaré ofreciendo por primera vez una clase en este tipo de evento. Mi clase está titulada "Regalitos para ti" a las 2:15pm. Aprenderán a hacer una bolsita para echar regalitos, un "wine tag" que realmente sirve para cualquier tipo de botella, una postal con bolsillo para tarjetas de regalo y vamos a reciclar un pote de comida para bebé. Aprenderán técnicas nuevas y muchos truquitos. Les va a encantar. La clase tendrá un costo de $25 a ser pagados en la entrada o el "booth" del DT en la Convención. Para la clase deben llevar: guillotina, score board y bone folder, pega, 3D dots, tinta negra, tinta para distress marrón, acrílico para sellos ("stamps") y Tijeras. Si no tienes alguno de estos, no te preocupes por que allí mismo tendras las tiendas para adquirirlos. La clase incluye el resto de los materiales incluyendo un sello de la línea Unity Stamp Co. Para reservar tu espacio, me pueden enviar mensaje a mi página Maia Ink. Solo habrán 30 espacios disponibles. ¡¡¡Los espero!!! I'm so happy to share with you news about the 2nd Scrapbook Convention in Puerto Rico hosted by Revista Papeles y Más . It will be on February 23rd in the Puerto Rico Convention Center. Almost all the local scrapbook stores will be there under the same roof selling all their wonderful goodies. A local art supply store will also be there and of course US, the magazine's DT. I'm so happy to announce that I'll be teaching a class for the first time ever at this type of event. I'm so excited. My class is called "Gifts for you" and will be held at 2:15pm. You'll learn to make a cute paper bag for a small gifts, a wine tag that can be use in any kind of bottle actually, a gift card holder and we will be upcycling a baby food jar. You'll learn new techniques and tricks. You'll love it! The class' cost is $25 to be paid at the entrance or the DT booth. For the class you must bring your basic tools: scissors, glue, 3D dots, trimmer, scorer and bone folder, black ink, brown ink for distressing, and an acrylic block for stamps. If you don't have any of those, don't worry because the stores will be there. Class includes the materials including a stamp set from Unity Stamp Co.
