Hi everyone:
Welcome to Day 1 of my participation of Growing in Unity 2022 from the Unity Stamp Co. It's been a while since I've blog so I'm excited for this week. I really hope you enjoy my creations.
My first project for my GIU is a card I have called "Doxie Christmas". When I saw this stamp set, "Whit's Weenies" , I knew I had to have it. I love Dachshunds. I've had 8. Currently I have a mini black-tan doggie daughter named Maia. You can follow her in instagram as Maia_thedoxie. So this card is definitely inspired in her.
For this card I combined "Whit's Weenies" and "Say it Big (Holiday)" stamp sets. I colored the images with watercolor coloring pencils. The background was created with Distress Inks and white acrylic paint. I used Glossy Accents for the lightbulbs within the doxie image. The "Christmas" was heat embossed with silver embossing powder.
