Hi!
First, thank you all for joining me this week for Growing in Unity. I've had a blast. Thank you all for all your comments here and on FB posts. Remember to leave a comment for a chance to win a gift certificate from Unity Stamp Co. I'll be choosing 2 winners randomly.
Now for today's card. It's Friday, it's 5 o'clock somewhere. It's Wine o'clock. This is another stamp that had yet to see ink. I had the idea for the card for a while and was finally able to pull it off. I used my Cricut machine to cut the wine glass out of an acetate sheet. The wine portion is purple cardstock with some Distress Ink. I chose to heat emboss the clock image as well as the sentiment. I was able to use tiny drop of Glossy Accents as glue to glue the "wine glass" to the cardstock. The panel behind was done with white cardstock, some Distress Inks and water droplets. I tore up one of the sides of the panel so I could achieve a not so perfect squared look here. I'm really happy with the finished product. Now comes the hard part... letting go of the card and giving it up to someone LOL. I know I'm not the only one...
Anyways, thank you again for your love all this week and I hope to see you guys next year with GIU again (fingers crossed). Meanwhile, check out my FB fan page, Maia Ink.
Hi:
Well, we all know that Mariah is already defrosting! It's almost tiiiiiime. Christmas time. Today's card features 3 different stamp sets. The main image is from Crafty Little Elf. Background is from a Kit of the Month: October 2018 and the sentiment is from the Say It Big (Holiday). For this card, I heat embossed the background. I think gold embossed on red cardstock is just perfect and screams Christmas. I Copic colored the cute elf. The sentiment is also heat embossed. I used Glossy Accents and a gold sequin for the jingle bell. I already know who's going to received this cutie.

See you tomorrow on my last GIU day this year.
Hi!
For today's project I made a "Congrats" card. I have a weeding I'm invited coming up soon and thought my GIU days would be a perfect opportunity to get a card for this event going. I used a pinkish coral pallete for this card as it is somewhat similar to the wedding colors. I used Distress Inks in "Worn Lipstick", "Abandoned Coral" and "Festive Berries" for the background panel. I first put water on the watercolor paper and spread the colors. I added a golden touch with Color Bloom's Gold Foil spray mist (no idea if they still sell this). I die cut vellum and gold foil cardstock using Unity's "Say It Big" coordinating die set. I really loved the end product here. It definitely is my style of card. I stamped a sentiment from the Say It Big (Front & Center stamps) in the interior of the card. And on this card I'm showing of my custom stamp from Magsuson Custom Stamps that I had made a while back with my Maia Ink logo. I just love it!!!
Well, 2 more days left. It's no over yet! Be sure to leave your comment for a chance to win a gift card from Unity Stamp Co. Also, go check out my Facebook Fan Page: Maia Ink and like it! I'll be posting more frequently what I've been up to.
Hello!
Thank you so much to all for your comments so far. It has pumped me up! Now to today's card...
Are you from the club that buys those crafty supplies but then don't want to use it because "it's too pretty I don't want to use it" or "I'm saving it for a special project". Yes, guilty as charged! I got this paper pack a while ago, "Birthday Party", but hadn't used it. Well finally I did! I paired with the set "Extended Celebration". I colored the image with regular color pencils I took from my son's school supplies.

Hello everyone!!!
Welcome back. I'm super excited to be part of Growing in Unity again this year!
For today's card, I wanted to go for a "rustic" look. I used design papers from the Rustic Wood Paper Pack from Unity Stamp Co. The stamp I'm pretty sure I got it as a freebie on one of the amazing sales Unity does. It is a Itty bitty stamp called Living the Simple Life. I colored the image using watercolor pencils. I wanted some texture on the card so to keep the rustic look, I embossed wood grains on white cardstock and the added some Distress Ink in Vintage Photo color and then I distressed the borders with scissors. The "Hello Friend" is a really old die from "Cuttlebug". I used some gold thread for a special touch and my fave crafting supply ever, Glossy Accents for the flowers.
