Today's post is the first of another new section of my blog called "Upcycled". In this series, I'll make new use of things that would have otherwise be trash. There are tons of ideas online to be inspired. I hope you get inspired by me too. Well, this first project was also inspired by a friend and also a DT member of the Revista Papeles y Más magazine, Scrapper Myra. I loved the idea and decided to make one this year. The jar is an upcycled pasta sauce jar. I used Scotch's washi tape to cover the lid and decorate the jar. In the tag, I used Unity Stamp Co stamps, chipboard numbers from Bella Blvd, Distress inks, clear embossing powder, twine and a stapler. The idea behind the jar is to put little notes in it with thoughts and reminders of the good things that happened to you through out the whole year. At the end of the year, you open it and remember all the good things that happened. It's like counting your blessings at the end of the year. I love the idea!!! This jar WILL be full!!!

La entrada de hoy es la primera de otra nueva sección que se llamará "Upcycled". En esta serie, haré nuevo uso de objetos que ya fueron utilizados. ¡A darle nueva vida a la basura! Hay muchas ideas en el internet para inspirarse. Espero que también se sientan inspirados por mi. Bueno, este proyecto en particular fue también inspirado por una nueva amiga y también parte del equipo de diseño de la revista Papeles y Más, Scrapper Myra. Me gusto mucho la idea así que decidí hacer uno este año. El frasco era de una salsa para pastas. Utilicé  "washi tape" de la marca Scotch para cubrir la tapa del frasco. Para el "tag"usé sellos de Unity Stamp Co, números en carton de Bella Blvd, "Distress Inks", "clear embossing powder", hilo y grapas. La idea detrás del frasco es escribir en papelitos grandes acontecimientos, logros y todo lo bueno que te pase durante el año y colocarlos dentro del frasco. Al finalizar el año, lo abres y lees todo lo bueno que te pasó durante el pasado año. Es una buena manera de recorder y contar las bendiciones. De veras que me encanta la idea. ¡Declaro que mi frasco estará lleno! :)
