Growing in Unity - First day!

 Hello everyone!!!

Welcome back. I'm super excited to be part of  Growing in Unity again this year!

For today's card, I wanted to go for a "rustic" look. I used design papers from the Rustic Wood Paper Pack from Unity Stamp Co. The stamp I'm pretty sure I got it as a freebie on one of the amazing sales Unity does. It is a Itty bitty stamp called  Living the Simple Life. I colored the image using watercolor pencils. I wanted some texture on the card so to keep the rustic look, I embossed wood grains on white cardstock and the added some Distress Ink in Vintage Photo color and then I distressed the borders with scissors. The "Hello Friend" is a really old die from "Cuttlebug".  I used some gold thread for a special touch and my fave crafting supply ever, Glossy Accents for the flowers.

See you tomorrow!

Absolutely gorgeous card! I love all the wonderful techniques you used. The glossy accents are so pretty and add so much character to the already sweet floral image. Love it!
