¡Hola!

Mientras leen esto, yo estoy disfrutando de la fiesta del primer añito de mi bebé. Luego les iré compartiendo las fotografías de todo lo que hice para la decoración de la fiesta. El motivo es del programa infantil puertorriqueño Atención Atención. De este motivo no viene NADA hecho, así que me dí el gustazo de crear TODO lo de la fiesta. Estuve varios meses trabajando en esto (vida de madres, caoticamente Hermosa). Ya verán... mientras les comparto las invitaciones de la fiesta. También les incluyo un video del programa para l@s que no lo conocen. Es muy bueno. JT le fascina.

While you are reading this, I'm enjoying my baby's first birthday party. I'll be sharing later some pics of the party and all the decorations I made. The birthday theme is the Puerto Rican kid's TV show "Atención Atención". This birthday theme is not available for sale so I had to make EVERYTHING for the party. I spent a few months making it all but I'm sure it is all worth it. You'll see... meanwhile, here are the invitations for the party. I also included a video for those who don't know the show. It's great! JT LOVES it.

¡Hola!

Esta semana he publicado practicamente todos los días pues la semana entrante estaré disfrutando compartiendo en familia así que estaré de mini-vacaciones. Hoy les traigo una tarjeta estilo CAS para la competencia de Runway Inspired Challenges #46. Abajo pueden ver la foto de inspiración de la colección L.A.M.B. Spring 2014. A parte de la combinación de colores, me encantó la cartera de la modelo. El patrón de los bolsillos me llamó mucho la atención así que lo recreé en cartulina negra para la base de la tarjeta. Para darle el toque naranja a la postal, iba a colorear una flor con Copics,  Pero encontré esa flor que me había sobrado de las tarjetas que hice para el Día de las Madres y me pareció perfecta. ¡Por eso no boto NADA que me sobra cuando estoy creando! El pensamiento lo estampé en papel de "vellum". Me encanta el resultado final.

Hello!

This week, I've been posting almost every day because I'll be MIA next week enjoying some quality time with my family. Today's card is a CAS card for Runway Inspired Challenges #46. On top is the inspiration pic from the L.A.M.B. Spring 2014 collection. Apart from the color combo, I love the purse!!! I was immediately drawn away by the pattern on the purse's pocket so I recreated it scoring black cardstock for the base of the card. To give it a pop of orange I was going to Copic color a flower but then I found a that flower in my stash. It was a leftover from the cards I made for Mother's Day and it was perfect. That's why I NEVER throw out any scraps! I stamped the sentiment on vellum paper. I really love the final result.

Lawnscaping Challenge #68

Hi!

Today's card is for this week's Lawnscaping Challenge #68: Pinterest inspired. I've said it before... I'm seriously addicted to Pinterest. I may need rehab!!! LOL I've made some things inspired by my pins that I will soon share with you. For this challenge I chose the pin you'll see below. One of the things that first come to mind when you think of Halloween are witches. I thought it would be fun to make a "witch checklist". I used several sets of Lawn Fawn stamps. The witch's hat is from the "Hats off to you" set. The cauldron is the soup bowl from the "On the Mend" set. The potion's bubbles and the ones on the list are from the "Critters in the Sea" set. The broom is from "Making Frosty Friends". The spell book is the scarf from that set also. For the list I used the Harold's ABCs. I'll also enter it to Simon Says... Halloween or Halloween Colours.

La tarjeta de hoy es para la competencia de esta semana de Lawnscaping Challenge #68: Pinterest inspired. Ya lo he dicho antes... estoy seriamente adicta a Pinterest. ¡Podría necesitar rehabilitación rehab!!! LOL He hecho algunas cositas inspiradas en mis "pins" que estaré compartiendo con ustedes pronto. Para esta tarjeta escogí el "pin" que ven arriba, la primera foto. Una de las primeras cosas qu vienen a la mente al pensar en "Halloween" son las brujas. Pensé que sería divertido hacer un "listado de verificación de bruja". Usé unos cuantos sets de sellos de Lawn Fawn. El sombrero de bruja es del set "Hats of to you" . El caldero es la sopa del set "On the Mend" . Las burbujas de la poción y las del listado son del set "Critters in the Sea" . La escoba es de "Making Frosty Friends". El libro de hechizos es la bufanda de ese set también. Para el listado utilicé el set Harold's ABCs. Entraré la tarjeta también a la siguiente competencia: Simon Says... Halloween or Halloween Colours.
