¡Al fin viernes!

Hoy les traigo otra tarjeta que hice con el set "A jar full of sweetness" de Unity Stamp Co. Como ya les dije, este set me encanta. Es muy versátil. Los papeles de diseño son de "Carta Bella: Devoted". Hice la técnica de "masking" para estampar las jarras y coloreé las imágenes con Copics. Recuerden dejar un comentario para la oportunidad de ganar premios de nuestros amigos de Unity Stamp Co. Friday at last!

I made another card using the "A jar full of Sweetness" from Unity Stamp Co. As I mentioned before, I love this set! It's so versatile. The design paper is from Carta Bella:Devoted. I did some masking technique for the jars and colored the images with Copics. Remember to leave a comment for a chance to win stamps from our friends Unity Stamp Co. Hope you like it! Well, Mr. Timberlake had us waiting a while for new material. I didn't love the first song playing on the radio. But this one I loved. It's called Mirrors. Enjoy and have a Happy Friday!

Bueno, esta semana me inspiré en los '80. Así que para seguir en esa misma onda ;) escogí una canción de esta decada. Una tarea dificil por tantas canciones que podría escoger. Asi que verán más YTF con canciones de los '80. Cómo hablar de los '80 y no mencionar a Madonna. Revolucionó la música, la moda, los videos musicales, a TODO EL MUNDO. Hoy, existe Lady Gaga y la controversia de si es una copia de Madonna o no. Lo cierto es que Madonna es la original. En mi opinión Lady Gaga podría estar toda la vida tratando... nunca será Madonna. ;) Escogí una de mis canciones favoritas de ella: "La Isla Bonita". Esta está incluida en el CD "True Blue" lanzado en junio del 1986.  ¡Que lo disfruten! Feliz Viernes.

Well, this week I have been inspired by the 80's. So, to stay on the same track ;) I chose a song from that decade. A hard task considering all the great songs I could chose from! You'll be seen more YTF with 80's songs. How talk about the 80's without mentioning Madonna. She revolutionized music, fashion, music videos, EVERYBODY. Nowadays, there's Lady Gaga and the controversy of whether she's or she's not copying Madonna. The truth is Madonna is the original. In my opinion, Lady Gaga could spend a lifetime trying.... but she will never be Madonna. ;) I chose one of my favorite songs from her: "La Isla Bonita". It's included in the CD "True Blue" released in June 1986. Enjoy! Happy Friday!

Estoy devuelta con YTF después de un viernes de descanso (el Día de Reyes). Hoy les presento la canción "Preciosa" en la versión de Marc Anthony. No hay boricua que resista sentir orgullo al escuchar esta canción. Una letra del gran compositor puertorriqueño Rafael Hernández. Escogí esta canción porque este fin de semana se celebran unas fiestas muy tradicionales de Puerto Rico: Las fiestas de la calle San Sebastían. Para que conozcan más de estas fiestas pueden entrar aquí. Estamos de octavitas todavia :) Ya hay que ir desmontando el arbolito de Navidad. Pero que no nos preocupe eso. ¡En Puerto Rico siempre hay algo que celebrar! Que disfruten el video :)

I'm back with YTF after a Friday off (Three Kings Day). Today I'm presenting the song "Preciosa" in Marc Anthony's version. No Puerto Rican can resist to feel proud when listening to this song. The lyrics are by the great Puerto Rican composer Rafael Hernández. I chose this song because this weekend we are celebrating a very tradicional parties: "Las fiestas de la calle de San Sebastían. To learn more about this go here.  We are still celebrating Christmas over here :) but it's almost over so we have to start taking off all the Christmas decorations. But I don't have to worry about the Holidays being over. There's always something to celebrate in Puerto Rico! Enjoy the video :)

Estamos en conteo regresivo para el día de Navidad y todo el mundo sabe que no hay lugar en el mundo donde se pasen mejor las Navidades que en Puerto Rico!!! :) El video, más bien la canción porque no le hicieron video como tal, que les presento es un sencillo de la puertorriqueña Kany García. ¡Esta canción me encanta y es perfecta para esta Navidad! Feliz Navidad a todos :)

We're on the official countdown for Christmas day and everybody knows (or SHOULD) know that there's no better place in the world to celebrate Christmas than in Puerto Rico!!! :) The video, or should I say the song 'cause the song has no official video, is from Puertorican singer Kany García. I love this song and it's PERFECT for our Christmas celebrations! Merry Christmas!!!! :)

For this Friday's YTF, I wanted to keep going on with the Christmas theme. I chose from Glee. I just love the show! I fell in love with it from the first episode. It has everything: music, dancing, great actors, and teen drama. It's the best. I love that they all REALLY sing. I loved this Christmas episode and this song... so... ENJOY! Good Friday everyone!

Para el YTF de este viernes, quise continuar con el tema de Navidad. Escogí la canción del programa de TV Glee. Me encanta este programa desde la primera vez que lo ví. Tiene todos los elementos: música, baile, buenos actores y drama juvenil. ¡Es el mejor! Me encanta que los actores REALMENTE cantan. Me gustó mucho este capítulo de Navidad y esta canción... asi que espero QUE LA DISFRUTEN. ¡Que tengan un lindo viernes!
