Hi!

Again a late post! My mini spiderman has kept me really busy!!! ;) With grandma's help, I got to spend time in my craft room this week and made a few cards. Today's card is a simple yet powerful one. I really like the message in it! I used a Unity Stamp Co stamp called "Storms make deeper roots" which makes the card perfect for this week's CASology Challenge Week 86. The cue card is "Roots". I'll also enter this card for CAS-ual Fridays: CFC129: Shades of Gray and I'll share it with my friends from Unity for the "Friends with Flair"

¡Otra entrada tarde! ¡Mi pequeño hombre araña me ha tenido muy ocupada esta semana! Con la ayuda de abuelita, pude crear un poco esta semana y hacer varias tarjetas. La tarjeta de hoy es simple pero con un mensaje profundo. Usé un sello de Unity Stamp Co llamado "Storms make deeper roots" el cual hace que la tarjeta sea perfecta para la competencia de esta semana de CASology Challenge Week 86. La palabra clave es "Roots", raices. También estaré entrando esta tarjeta a la competencia de CAS-ual Fridays: CFC129: Shades of Gray y la compartiré con mis amigos de Unity para el "Friends with Flair" de hoy.

Hello!

Finally Friday is here! Today's card is inspired by the current Runway Inspired Challenge #55: Pamella Roland. The runway outfit for inspiration is a beautiful silver dress. I've been wanting for a while to ink up this beautiful stamps from Unity Stamp Co. and I finally had the chance. I stamped using Tuxedo Black (Memento Ink) the damask design in white cardstock and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder the dress form. I LOVE the sentiment! It was kinda hard to photograph the image so to make the dress form pop out a bit I used SU's Crystal Effects. It really looks gorgeous in person. I completed the card with Teresa Collins sequins. I'll be sharing this card to with my friends from "Friends with Flair" from Unity Stamp Co.

¡Finalmente llegó el viernes! La tarjeta de hoy está inspirada en la competencia actual de Runway Inspired Challenge #55: Pamella Roland. El traje de inspiración es un hermoso traje largo platead. He estado esperando la oportunidad de usar estos hermosos sellos de Unity Stamp Co. y finalmente esa oportunidad se dió. Estampé el diseño de fondo con tinta "Tuxedo Black" (Memento Ink) en cartulina blanca y luego usando la técnica de "heat embossing" con polvo plateado, estampé la forma de vestidos. ¡Me encanta el mensaje "extraño tu cara"! Fue un tanto difícil fotografiar la imagen asi que para que resaltara más, la cubrí con "Crystal Effects" de SU. Se ve hermoso en persona. Completé la tarjeta con lentejuelas de Teresa Collins. Estaré también compartiendo la tarjeta con mis amigos de "Friends with Flair" de Unity Stamp Co.

Upcycled

¡Hola!

Hoy les presento otro proyecto con material reciclado. Como saben, tengo un bebé y pues obvio consume "baby foods". Sinceramente me dá lástima botar a la basura los recipientes de cristal de estos. Así que comencé a guardarlos para usarlos luego. Recientemente utilicé muchos de estos en unos regalos "hechos por mi". Preparé "scrubs" para el cuerpo con ingredientes orgánicos y aceites esenciales de Taproot Organics. ¿Dónde coloqué el "scrub" para regalar? Pues en los envases de cristal que tenía guardados. Decoré las tapas con papel de diseño y Mod Podge y también les prepare unas etiquetas. ¡Todo el mundo quedó encantado! Yo muy satisfecha pues regalé algo hecho por mi, reciclé y ahorre a la vez.

Welcome to another "Upcycled" post. As you may know I have a baby and of course he eats baby food. I hated the feeling of throwing in the trash those cute little glass jars so I started to store them. Recently I used some of those I had stored in a homemade gift. I made body scrubs with organic ingredients and essential oils from Taproot Organics .Where did I put the scrub I made? Well of course in the baby food jars! I covered the jar with design paper and Mod Podge and I also made labels and tags. Everybody loved it! I was very satisfied since I gave away something I made, I recycled and saved money at the same time.

Color Mists

Hi there!

Today's card features something I'm kinda obsessed with right know, color mists. But not the ones you buy, the DIY kind. For this one I also made the stencil. I used the "Wild Card" Cricut Cartridge to cut it on heavy cardstock. Talk about saving money on craft supplies! ;) I made the color mists using acrylic paint and water. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. I'll share this card with the great people from Scrapbookpal.com for their Share your project contest and I'll enter it in the CASology Week 84: Paint,

La tarjeta de hoy tiene una técnica con la cual estoy algo obsesionada ultimamente, los sprays de colores. Pero no son los que venden comercialmente, si no los hechos por uno mismo. Para esta tarjeta también hice mi propia plantilla. Usé el cartucho de Cricut "Wild Card" para cortar el mio en cartulina gruesa. ¡Así ahorro dinero! Hice los sprays de color con pintura acrílica y agua. El sello es de Lawn Fawn.
