Hello Everyone!

Today's card is my second entry for the current Unity -Be Inspired- Challenge. This time I made a CAS design following the colors of the inspiration color photo.31. I got this cute stamp set on one of their amazing sales (they have one right know that is almost imposible to resist!). I just love it. It actually made me think of my best friend. The background was actually a scrap paper I used to clean the brayer I used to paint with acrylic paint when I made this canvas. I loved how it looked so I saved it for a card later. La tarjeta de hoy es mi segunda entrada para el reto actual de Unity -Be Inspired- Challenge. Esta vez hice un diseño CAS siguiendo los colores de la foto de inspiración .31. Compré este lindo set de sellos en una de sus fabulosas ventas (en estos momentos tienen una que está casi imposible de resistir). Me encanta el set. Me hizo pensar en mi mejor amiga. El fondo fue realmente un pedazo de papel en el cual limpié la pintura del rolo que use mientras creaba este canvas. Me gustó como se veía así que lo guardé para un proyecto futuro y aquí está. El zorro lo coloreé con Copics. Happy Friday everyone! As you have seen, I haven't done much crafting this summer. I've been spending quite some time with a very, VERY high energized toddler that takes all my attention. But I got to squeeze some time to do my very first mixed media canvas!!!! I got some new stamps from Unity Stamp Co that I still have to give some love too, but I just couldn't wait to ink this set. It is a 8" x 11" canvas. I watercolored the image with Distress Inks and watercolors. I also made the modeling paste I used (white acrylic paint, baby powder and glue). I had soooo much fun. Definitely will be making others in the near future! I'll share this with my Unity friends for the Friends with Flair link. Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win some stamps.

¡Feliz viernes a todos! Como han visto no he podido hacer casi manualidades este verano. He estado compartiendo mucho tiempo con un pequeñín que está lleno de mucha, MUCHA energía. Pude sacar un ratito para hacer mi primer "mixed media canvas". Compré algunos sellos nuevos de Unity Stamp Co que estoy loca por darles cariño, pero este set sencillamente no podía esperar. Es un canvas 8" x 11". La imágen la pinté con acuarelas y con Distress Inks. También preparé mi propio "modeling paste" (pintura acrílica blanca, pega blanca y polvo para bebés). Me encantó la experiencia así que estaré haciendo más canvas pronto. Compartiré mi proyecto con mis amigos de Unity en el Friends with Flair. Today's Friends with Flair card features this stamp set from Unity. I used twine and Glossy Accents as glue, to create a heart. The design paper is from the collection Jubilee from MME. Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win stamps from Unity!

Para la tarjeta de hoy de "Friends with Flair" usé este setde Unity. Para crear el corazón con hilo, usé "glossy accents" para fijar el hilo al cartón. El papel de diseño es de la colección Jubilee de MME. No olviden comentar para la oportunidad de ganar sellos de Unity.

Hello everyone!

Here I am... posting late...yet again... Anyway, today's card is a birthday card. It features stamps from this kit from Unity Stamp Co. I heat embossed the images with clear embossing powder then colored, with Distress Inks, the background with the colors (I also followed the sketch) from the Unity Be Inspired Challenge just masking about half an inch where I stamped the sentiment. I completed the look with some purple twine and rhinestones. I'm loving this color combo. I'm entering the card to CASology: Week 131 since the cue card is "birthday". I'll also share this card too with today's Friends with Flair so don't forget to comment for a chance to win stamps from Unity!!!

Aquí de Nuevo... escribiendoles tarde... Bueno, la tarjeta de hoy es para cumpleaños. Usé este kit de Unity Stamp Co. Usando la técnica de "heat embossing" estampé las imágenes y luego utilicé polvo transparente para la técnica. Luego le dí color al fondo con "Distress Inks" utilizando los colores (también seguí el esquema) de la competencia de Unity Be Inspired Challenge. Cubrí aproximadamente media pulgada del fondo para estampar luego en esa area en blanco el mensaje. Completé la tarjeta con hilo violeta y "rhinestones". Esta combinación de colores me gusta mucho. Entraré la tarjeta en la competencia de CASology: Week 131, ya que la palabra clave es "cumpleaños". Estaré compartiendo la tarjeta también en el Friends with Flair del día de hoy, asi que no olviden dejar su comentario para la oportunidad de ganar sellos de Unity.

Este mes de diciembre se ha ido volando. Ya casi, casi es Navidad. Hoy les presento una tarjeta con colores no tan tradicionales para la época. Usé sellos de Unity Stamp Co así que estaré compartiendo esta con mis amigos de Friends with Flair. Entraré la tarjeta a la competencia de este mes de Unity Stamp Co en su blog de Competencias. Black Friday for most. Me, I don't go shopping. I honestly don't know how people can go shopping after stuffing themselves the day before! Es viernes negro para mucho, para mi no. Yo no voy de compras en este día. ¡Es Viernes!

Luego de no participar unos viernes atrás, hoy regreso con una tarjeta para mis amig@s de Friends with Flair de Unity Stamp Co. Una tarjeta sencilla, con colores delicados utilizando los sellos de "Kate's Silhouettes". Quise plasmar cómo se transforma la vida de una mujer al convertirse en madre. Primero las tiendas a comprar la ropa y zapatos de moda. Luego el hermoso embarazo hasta la llegada de la criatura.

Its Friday!

After a few Fridays without participating, today I'm back with a card for my friends from Friends with Flair from Unity Stamp Co. A simple card, with pastel colors using Kate's Silhouettes stamps. I wanted to portray the transformation in a woman's life when she becomes a mother. First, going shopping for dresses and shoes. Then the beautiful period of being pregnant and the birth of the beautiful baby.

I finally started making Mother's day cards! I have so many ideas in mind that I wish I could be stamping 24 hours a day. Today's card features stamps from Unity Stamp Co. I love this stamp and now even more since I'm a mother. The sentiment is from this stamp set. I used the colors from the first challenge of my friend  Scrapper Myra: Color Challenge. Finally Friday is here! Today's card is inspired by the current Runway Inspired Challenge #55: Pamella Roland. The runway outfit for inspiration is a beautiful silver dress. I've been wanting for a while to ink up this beautiful stamps from Unity Stamp Co. and I finally had the chance. I stamped using Tuxedo Black (Memento Ink) the damask design in white cardstock and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder the dress form. I LOVE the sentiment! It was kinda hard to photograph the image so to make the dress form pop out a bit I used SU's Crystal Effects. It really looks gorgeous in person. I completed the card with Teresa Collins sequins. I'll be sharing this card to with my friends from "Friends with Flair" from Unity Stamp Co.

¡Finalmente llegó el viernes! La tarjeta de hoy está inspirada en la competencia actual de Runway Inspired Challenge #55: Pamella Roland. El traje de inspiración es un hermoso traje largo platead. He estado esperando la oportunidad de usar estos hermosos sellos de Unity Stamp Co. y finalmente esa oportunidad se dió. Estampé el diseño de fondo con tinta "Tuxedo Black" (Memento Ink) en cartulina blanca y luego usando la técnica de "heat embossing" con polvo plateado, estampé la forma de vestidos. ¡Me encanta el mensaje "extraño tu cara"! Fue un tanto difícil fotografiar la imagen asi que para que resaltara más, la cubrí con "Crystal Effects" de SU. Se ve hermoso en persona. Completé la tarjeta con lentejuelas de Teresa Collins. Estaré también compartiendo la tarjeta con mis amigos de "Friends with Flair" de Unity Stamp Co.

Pensé que no me daría tiempo... pero aquí estoy escribiendo la entrada. ¡Uff! Esta es la primera vez que participo en Friends with Flair (FWF) de Unity Stamp Co.
