Espero que todos tengan un lindo día. Lo más importante es estar consciente de que TODOS los días debemos dar gracias por TODO. Que la pasen lindo en familia y comiendo rico. Gracias Dios por todas las bendiciones que me haz dado. Aquí les comparto unos proyectos para el día utilizando sellos de Latina Crafter. ¡Bendiciones a todos!

Big Pumpkin/Calabaza

Hi!

Today's project is a Thanksgiving Card. I used dies to cut ovals to create a pumpkin. To give it some texture, I dry embossed it and distressed the edges. I fussy cut a turkey from a cute Bella Blvd paper. The sentiment is from Latina Crafter and the feathers are from Bella Blvd also. I'm adding this card to Cut It Up Challege: Let's talk turkey.

El proyecto de hoy es una tarjeta para el Día de Acción de Gracias. Usé un troquel ovalado para crear la calabaza. Para darle textura, hice repujado en seco y dí color a los bordes. Luego corté el pavito de un lindo papel de Bella Blvd. El sello del mensaje es de Latina Crafter y las plumas son de Bella Blvd también. Estaré entrando esta tarjeta a la competencia de Cut It Up Challege: Let's talk turkey.

¡Hola!

Hoy les traigo una tarjeta que me encanta. Les hago la historia... en la calle que vive mi mamá siempre decoran las casas de acuerdo a la temporada. Cuando se acerca el otoño, siempre recuerdo con una sonrisa en mi rostro la decoración de Acción de Gracias de una vecina. Era un pavito aguantando un letrero que leía "This year try a ham". Siempre lo encontré tan gracioso. :D Pues decidí hacerle honor de la major manera que sé, en papel. Utilizé sellos de Lawn Fawn (Turkey Day y Harold's ABCs), Copics, lentejuelas, alfiler, hilo y papel de diseño de Doodlebug Design Inc (Happy Harvest). Estaré entrando esta tarjeta a las siguientes competencias: Simon Says...Keep it Clean and Simple, Lawnscaping Challenges #69:Sentiment  y CASology: Week 69: Brown.

Hi!

Today I bring you a card that I love. Let me tell you a short story... in the street my mom lives almost everybody decorates depending on the season. Near Thanksgiving, a neighbor had a lawn decoration that everytime I think of it, a smile comes to my face. It was a turkey holding up a sign that read :This year try a ham". I always found it so funny. So, in honor of that "rebel" turkey a made a card! I used Lawn Fawn stamps (Turkey Day and Harold's ABCs), Copics, sequins, twine, and Doodlebug Design's paper (Happy Harvest). I'll enter this one to the following challenges:  Simon Says...Keep it Clean and Simple, Lawnscaping Challenges #69:Sentiment  and CASology: Week 69: Brown.

Dar Gracias/Give Thanks

Me gusta mucho esta temporada del año pues la temperatura comienza a bajar, aunque aquí en Puerto Rico actualmente estamos bajo una onda de calor intenso. A parte de las temperaturas más agradables, me encantan los colores otoñales. Hoy les presento una tarjeta CAS perfecta para agradecerle a esa persona especial todo lo que ha hecho por tí ;) Utilizé sellos y troqueles de Lawn Fawn. Para dar los colores otoñales usé lapices de colores de acuarela (Stampin Up) en papel de acuarela. Para darle un toque final utilizé lentejuelas. Estaré entrando esta tarjeta a las siguientes competencias: CAS-ual Fridays:CFC115 Fall Colors and a leaf y en Simon Says Stamp Challenges: Anything goes.

I like Autumn because temperatures start to get lower although here in Puerto Rico were under an extreme heat wave right now. In addition to the nicer temperatures, I love autumn colors. Today I'm presenting a CAS card perfect to say thanks to that special someone that did something for you :) I used Lawn fawn stamps and Lawn Cuts. For the Autumn colors I used Watercolor Pencils (Stampin Up) on watercolor paper. I gave it a little sparkle with sequins. I'll be entering this one in the following challenges: CAS-ual Fridays:CFC115 Fall Colors and a leaf & en Simon Says Stamp Challenges: Anything goes.
