Hi!

Today's card is not the usual one. I used my Cricut  to cut a snowflake shape and made a card out of it. I used Lawn Fawn and Pink by Design stamps and silver embossing powder to create this CAS card. I will enter this to this week's CASology Challenge: Week 125:Silver. I wanted to enter this too to Cut It Up Challenge but was late posting :( Enjoy!

La tarjeta de hoy es de una forma inusual. Usé la maquina Cricut para cortar dos copos de nieve e hice una tarjeta con ellos. Usé sellos de Lawn Fawn y Pink by Design y polvo plateado para hacer "heat embossing". Esta tarjeta la entraré en la competencia de CASology Challenge: Week 125:Silver. Quería entrar a la competencia de esta semana de "Cut It Up challenge" pero se me hizo tarde. :(

Que te mejores Abuelito/Get well Grandpa

Today's card is for my father in law. I made it on behalf of my baby JT. The sentiment reads "Que te mejores Abuelito" which means "Get well Grandpa". The design paper is from Lawn Fawn. The stamps are from Pink by design and Lawn Fawn also. I'll be entering it to the following challenges: Simon Says...Triangles and CAS-ual Friday Challenges CFC111: Buttons.

¡Hola!

Estoy aprovechando el tiempo que me queda para crear unas cuantas postales. Ya tengo 35 semanas de embarazo así que prontito tendré a mi bebé conmigo. Recientemente, mi familia me celebró mi "baby shower". Estuvo todo muy bonito. Al bebé, gracias a Dios, no le hace falta nada. Va a estar tan rodeado de amor...

Su abuelito Félix y su "tití" Nelly le hicieron unos regalitos muy especiales por lo tanto les hice esta tarjeta de agradecimiento.

Esta tarjeta estará participando en las siguientes competencias: Lawnscaping challenges Sketch, CAS-ual Fridays CFC69 Embossing y en Simon Says Stamps Challenges Put a Stamp on IT.

    

 

Utilizé los siguientes materiales: "cardstock", "Crystal Effecs" y "dimensionals" (Stampin Up), Spellbinders y carpetas de repujado (Cuttlebug), ponchador de borde y redondeador de esquina(Martha Stewart), hilo blanco y marrón, botones, sellos (Lawn Fawn y Pink by Design) & papel de diseño (Bella Blvd).

I'm using the time left before giving birth to my baby boy to create a few cards. I'm 35 weeks so very soon I'll have my baby with me. Recently my family celebrated my Baby Shower. Everything came out perfectly. We had a great time. The baby has everything he needs. He'll be surrounded with tons of love! He's granddaddy Félix and "aunty" Nelly gave him some special gifts so I wanted to thank them with this card I created. This card will be participating in the following challenges:  Lawnscaping challenges Sketch, CAS-ual Fridays CFC69 Embossing & Simon Says Stamps Challenges Put a Stamp on IT. I used the following materials: cardstock, Crystal Effecs and dimensionals (Stampin Up), Spellbinders y embossing folder from Cuttlebug, border punch and corner rounder(Martha Stewart),white and kraft twine, buttons from my stash, stamps (Lawn Fawn & Pink by Design) & paper (Bella Blvd).

Well, Christmas is officially over in PR. I've been kinda of busy putting away my Christmas tree :( and all the other decorations. In the bright side, Saint Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Oh my! I can't believe how fast 2012 is going! I have to confess, Saint Valentine's is not my favorite holiday. But I love making "love" cards. So, I can't wait to start making some. Tonight, I made this CAS card featuring the cute little owl from Lawn Fawn's "Critters from the Forest" set which I colored with Copics. The sentiment is "Te amo" which is "I love you" in Spanish. It's embossed with white embossing powder. To make the twine look twirled, I used glue dots. The heart shaped ballons are make from a paper punch and then colored with distress inks. This is be the first "love" card from me. I wanted to keep stamping but reality checked in :/ I have to sleep. I have work tomorrow. LOL I'm entering this card to the following challenges: Simon Says Stamps' "Spots &/or Stripes" Challenge & CAS-ual Fridays #35 "Highs & Lows". Supply list is below the Spanish version :)

Bueno, oficialmente se acabaron las Navidades en Puerto Rico. He estado un poquito ocupaba guardando todas las decoraciones y el arbolito de Navidad :( Pero al menos San Valentín está a la vuelta de la esquina. ¡Oh Dios! ¡No puedo creer lo rápido que va el 2012! Tengo que confesar que San Valentín no es mi día festivo favorito. Pero si me encanta hacer postales románticas. ¿Quién me entiende? jajaja Tengo muchas tarjetas que hacer así que ya tenía que comenzar. Esta noche les presento una tarjeta sencilla, estilo CAS con el lindo buho del set de sellos de Lawn Fawn "Critters from the Forest" el cual coloreé con Copics. El sentimiento "Te Amo" está estampado con la técnica de "heat embossing" con polvo blanco. Para hacer que el hilo rojo mantuviera su forma, utilizé puntos de pegamento "glue dots". Los globos en forma de corazón fueron cortados con un ponchador y coloreados con "distress inks" Esta será la primera tarjeta de amor para esta temporada. Realmente quería continuar estampando pero la realidad me llama :/ tengo que dormir. Mañana hay trabajo. jajaja Estaré entrando esta tarjeta en las siguientes competencias: Simon Says Stamps' "Spots &/or Stripes" Challenge & CAS-ual Fridays #35 "Highs & Lows".
